Be wary of sites that purport to give "the true picture" of Steiner/Waldorf or any other educational method. Many of these are simply propaganda sites promoting the particular philosophy and organisation.

• Challenging Anthroposophy and Steiner Education (CHASE) - This website is based in the United Kingdom and is an action group concerned about the growing reach and influence of Anthroposophy and Steiner education in the United Kingdom and Ireland. CHASE exists to inform the UK public about the nature of Anthroposophy and all things to do with Rudolf Steiner and in so doing better enable the public to make their own informed decisions about Anthroposophical and Steiner beliefs and applications.
• People for Legal and Non-Sectarian schools (PLANS) - This website is based in the United States and represents a "world-wide network of former Waldorf (Steiner) parents, teachers, students, administrators and trustees who come from a variety of backgrounds with a common goal: to educate the public about the reality behind Waldorf's facade of progressive, arts-based education. Waldorf is the most visible activity of Anthroposophy, an occultist sect founded by Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925)".
• The Rick A Ross Institute - This website is a "database of information about cults, destructive cults, controversial groups and movements. The Rick A. Ross Institute of New Jersey (RRI) is a nonprofit public resource with a vast archive that contains thousands of individual documents". It contains a special section on Waldorf/Steiner schools including an interesting article on the establishment of a Steiner stream in Trinity Gardens Primary School in South Australia.
